Hi, my name is Joslyn. I am a petite fawn girl (51 lbs.) but don't worry, I have a healthy appetite. One thing my foster family has learned is that I like to eat in a room all by myself. They take my food dish to a separate room and close the door so no one (2-legged or 4-legged) will bother me while I eat.
I get very excited when it is time to go for walks or when my foster family comes home. I like to jump up and try to stand on the backs of the other greyhounds in my foster family so I can be the first to receive petting. I also like to play with squeaky toys. I get them out of the toy bin and pile them up on my dog bed then lay on top of them.
I've been with my foster family since March. You may be thinking "why hasn't Joslyn been adopted?" Well here's the reason--I do not care for any other breed of dogs other than greyhounds (and maybe an Italian Greyhound). I would really like to be in a forever home with another greyhound. And cats, not so much, thank you. Aside from this, I'm pretty close to perfect.
So, why don't you come out and meet me and other Greyhounds looking for a forever home?
