Star (aka JG All Star)
Star is a sweet, unassuming boy. He likes to investigate faces completely, but doesn't share kisses very often. So far, he's averaged about one tiny kiss a week. If you pet him, then stop, he goes into the cutest cockroach position!
Star has quite a bit of energy for a boy of his age and he's especially crazy about balls. It doesn't matter what kind of ball it is - tennis, Kong, squeaky, furry - he loves them all! He will chase one through the house, slipping and sliding across the floor, until he snags it. If the ball goes under furniture, so does Star. He literally dove under a Kuranda bed for a tennis ball, and pulled a hammock-type dog bed across the floor when the ball got caught in its struts. The only way to get a ball back is to have several on hand. Throw one, and when he comes back with it, throw another. He'll drop the first and chase the second. This is particularly entertaining in the backyard.
So far, there's not a toy Star won't investigate. He enjoys removing the stuffed animals from the storage bins, one by one. He can catch a stuffie in his mouth when thrown to him. He likes to chew on rubber bones.
Wherever you are, Star is. He likes staying close by. If you're washing dishes, he's right by the sink to lend emotional support. If you go into a room and close him out, he plants himself against the door so there's no escaping without alerting him. Even if you're gone for a short amount of time, he is very excited to see you. His tail helicopters round and round.
Star has gotten along well with the other dogs in the house, although he likes to bark at the poodle-like dog next door. He loves to go on walks and for rides in the car. Anything that keeps him close to you is okay in his book!
