Bio
Saks (aka Keeper Saks) is a petite, beautiful 2 year-old brindle with black muzzle. She has 0 races on record at Greyhound-data.com, preferring an early retirement. She is a timid grey that will require time before warming up to new folks; however, she has become more sociable at the recent Meet & Greets. She has quickly adapted to her foster home and has found the joys of sleeping on a soft dog bed, loves treats and belly rubs. She was crated a little during the day until she learned the household routine and now does not require crating. She has shown no interest in jumping on furniture or counter surfing. She is non-aggressive and gets along well with other dogs and cat in the household. She is a perfect lady, well mannered and waits patiently to be fed. She sleeps on a dog bed in the master bedroom at night and walks well on the leash but prefers to go potty in the backyard.
The ideal forever home for Saks is a quite environment with owners who have the patience to earn her trust along with another dog/grey. After that trust is found, Saks will give you kisses in the morning and will spin in circles with excitement to greet you after a hard day of work. While she is not a Velcro dog, she does enjoy being around her foster Mom.
Saks would make a great companion for a family who has the right environment and patience to work with a timid grey.
