Logan is a handsome 2-year old red fawn male who has been in his foster home since February 1st. This boy is what his foster mom refers to as a “project”; he’s super shy and skittish, and is going to take a TON of patience. Surprisingly he walks nicely on the leash, no pulling, looks up at you and is positively gleeful during the walk. On day 9 in his foster home, he ventured out of his favorite corner where he hides 24/7 and walked through the house to the garage without coaxing to join in the walk, and has done so ever since. Later that day he engaged in happy play with two of the dogs. On the morning of day 15, for the first time he cautiously entered the bedroom where the other dogs and his foster mom were sleeping. It’s heartwarming to observe his progress. We’ve not had any thunderstorms yet, so don’t know if he’s thunder-phobic. He loads into the car okay if his foster mom backs the SUV to the curb so he only needs to step in. Good eater, crates quietly, friendly with all the other dogs. No accidents in the house… foster mom props the back door open a few times a day and he follows the other dogs outside. He relies heavily on the other dogs, so it’s doubtful that he’d do well as an only dog. He needs a quiet home with someone experienced with greyhounds, and willing to give this sweet boy the time he needs to adjust and develop trust, which of course means not a candidate for a home with children.
