Bonnie

Bio

Bonnie is a petite, beautiful black 2-year old greyhound with slight white markings on feet and chest. She is very sweet but extremely shy. Bonnie likes daily walks on quiet streets and only occasional shows any interest with toys. Bonnie loves treats especially Chicken Jerky Fillets.

She gets along well with other dogs and a cat in her foster home and shows no aggression. She eats well and rides well in the car.

Bonnie likes to be around her foster Mom, lying on one of the dog beds where she feels safe while not being demanding or over bearing.

Her future adopters should be aware that the transition period may take longer since Bonnie is extremely frightful of new environments and noises. She really doesn't like loud vehicles and garbage trucks and is timid and reserve around new people.

The ideal home for Bonnie would be in a quiet, forever home with another dog and with adopters who have experience in the development of shy dogs. Bonnie should not be in a home with young children since she may revert back to hiding in her crate.

Her foster Mom continues to work with Bonnie's socialization, bringing out her personality and building up her confidence. Also continue to work with her potty outside and she is doing better each week as she adjusts to outside noises.

Bonnie will make a great companion for a special person(s) given time and with patience.
