"Teak" -- that's me
Lets get the stats out of the way first. I am a gorgeous, svelte, glossy black greyhound. My age is unimportant but I am 13 years old. An active 13 year old.
Now to generalities. Sometime in my life I sustained a significant injury to my right front wrist (human description). The injury either wasn't treated or healed poorly (my memory is a little vague on this issue). This injury left my front leg stiff at my "wrist" necessitating that I walk on my tippy toes on that foot. Never fear, I can still chase squirrel's and cats at top speed. I have never tried a doggie door but it might be a little difficult. Don't know this for certain. I do take a buffered aspirin every day to lessen the aches that accompany the senior years.
Food really turns me into a dancing greyhound especially if its chicken. Canned food is OK but that's all it is "OK". I eat moist and dry kibbles. But the chicken once a day is a highlight.
My house manners are above reproach. Accidents just don't happen. A BIG bed is a necessity. I spend many hours snoozing because I need to be ready for the squirrels and cats.
Other dogs are fine with me. I am very laid back. In my previous home I had many playmates but unfortunately that changed. The past is past.
I'm looking for a Future home with someone who will let me lean on them, will rub my eyes and ears, and give me lots of attention. In return I'll give my people unconditional love, lots of kisses, happy door meets and the joy of owning someone with my personality.
