Amy (aka Aimless Amy)
From foster mom: Amy is a gorgeous brindle female who will celebrate her 4th birthday on March 26th. When she arrived at her foster home she was extremely shy and fearful. Loud or sudden noises and unexpected movements send her looking for a place to hide. She gets along wonderfully with her foster buddies, but it takes her a couple weeks to warm up to new people. With daily walks, several months in a home, and numerous Meet & Greet events, Amy is making remarkable progress. She plays in the yard with her foster buddies, asks for ear scratches and treats, and she's the first one at the door for the morning walk! Walks through the neighborhood used to be a major ordeal for her, but now Amy walks on a loose leash perfectly. It's been fun to watch her come out of her shell. Amy would do best in a home with an experienced greyhound owner, a patient person or couple willing to take on a heartwarming challenge. She would also do best with at least one other greyhound in the family. She would not be a good match for a home with small children. She passed her cat testing with flying colors
