Hi, my name is Canzone. Well actually, my racing name was QuickSong, but now I am called Canzone. It means "song" in Italian. A canzone is an Italian or Provencal song or ballad. (Get it? QuickSONG----Canzone.)
Anyway, I am looking for my forever home now. My foster Dad says I am well behaved and have had only one accident in the house. I have learned how to use the doggie door. I like the other dogs I am living with. We all get along great. We get to go for walks everyday and that is so cool, I like walks. I’m not sure if I like small dogs or cats, I’ll get back to you on that one, but I’m thinking I don’t like them.
There is one issue I have and hopefully it will not deter you. I am very shy. It takes me a very long time to warm up to new people. Loud voices or noises really scare me. However, as long as I have my crate, I am OK. It is my safe place (and it is comfortable). My foster Dad said that it has taken me about two months to get comfortable with him, but truthfully, sometimes his voice is too loud for me still. He said he would try to be quieter. Now if he would get rid of that darn surround sound for his TV, I would be happy. I would really like a quiet home, with lots of walks and maybe not loud male humans. Female humans are the best.
OK, that is my story. If you want to meet me, just let the Adoption Coordinators know and they will arrange it for us. I hope you will consider me. Oh yeah, one more thing. They say I am a small male and only weigh 65 pounds. I’m not small! I’m the size I was meant to be. Bye! Hope to see you soon. |
