Hi, my name is Constance. Actually, my racing name was Keeper Constance, but I’m newly retired so my foster family just calls me Constance. I am a very shy girl and a little afraid of men.
In my foster home, if I get frightened, I go to my “special place” in the bedroom (behind a chair) and stay there for a little while. When I’m ready, I come back out and play with the other greyhounds (and Italian greyhounds) in my foster home.
I love to play with squeaky toys, especially soft balls. I love for someone to throw the ball in the air so I can catch it and run around a little, then I always bring it back so we can play “ball” again.
I have a good appetite but sometimes I prefer to eat by myself in the bedroom. I especially love it when it is time for treats and vitamins. These are new experiences and I’m starting to get the hang of retired life—it is greyt!
My ideal forever home will have humans that will be patient with me while I overcome my shyness. I know you are looking for someone like me who is sweet, lovable, and eager to please you.
