Bio
Ruby is a beautiful 8-year old red fawn girl who is sure to steal your heart away. She is outgoing and friendly, and loves being with her person above all else. She will follow you from room to room just to be near you. She loves being stroked, petted and hugged and will return your love many times over.
Ruby gets along well with other dogs, but is not cat tolerant. She likes meeting new people, but may be shy at first. I have taken her to a long term care facility to visit a sick friend where she demonstrated excellent social and therapy skills. She liked being petted by the residents and seems to look forward to going each time we return.
She loves to go for walks and walks well on a leash. She is a little nervous when riding in a car but eventually settles down and relaxes. She is always anxious to go somewhere and will make that known by accompanying you to the door every time! She is a girl who likes to be on the go.
Ruby would do well in a home with a family who will spend a lot of time with her. She would love to have another dog as a companion as well.
