Bio
Dart is just a doll!
Very sweet and is a cuddle bug. He is a tiny lap dog in a large body.
Gets along with the male and female greyhounds in his foster home. Not territorial about food or space. Doesn’t play with them but wants to be near them. He and the male greyhound follow each other around and tend to run together.
He like ALL the toys; is not picky about fluffy, squeaky, crunchy or chewy. I have talked to him about putting toys away when he is done with them but he prefers them strung everywhere.
He is good with the stairs but is a hard pass on the dog door.
The only struggle we have is that he doesn’t tell us when he needs to go out. Extremely subtle- he will walk up to us which is also what he does when he is hungry, wants attention or wants a treat. We have him on a strict schedule and ordered a bell to see if we can train him to ring it when he needs out.
He crates beautifully. If he would use the dog door, we wouldn’t crate him at all.
Still is puppy like in that he gets into things but isn’t destructive.
He will make any family a great addition.
