Sputnick is a 5-year-old brindle girl who is stunningly beautiful. She was returned from a home that was not a good fit to find a new family. Sputnick loves to go for walks and is well behaved on a leash. She is also house trained, and even knows how to sit! Sputnick is extremely food aggressive, and will need an owner who is willing to deal with her resource-guarding behavior at meal times. If Sputnick were a person, she would be an introvert who has a large personal bubble. She isn’t a cuddler, but she does like attention, as long as it comes in small doses. She des not deal well with confrontation, and will need an owner who is 100% committed to using only positive training techniques. She is a smart girl who would likely benefit from having a hobby, such as obedience, rally or agility. Because of her food aggression and need for personal space, Sputnick will not be adopted to families with young children or grandchildren in the house. She will flourish with an experienced Greyhound owner who is willing to deal with her personality quirks with praise and positive feedback.
