Bio
Gold has quickly settled in life as a pet, and loves to be near his people. He is happiest when you are petting him, and will gently nuzzle you to let you know when he wants some attention. Because he is still new to the pet life, he gets a little overexcited when his people come home from work or a trip to the store and thinks it’s OK to show them how happy he is they have returned by jumping on them. His foster parents are teaching him that this is not acceptable behavior. Like most greyhounds, he is proving to be easy to house train, and has not had a single accident in the house. Gold is also pretty smart – he figured out how to use the dog door in two days – but is not an alpha dog by any means. He currently lives with six other dogs, including a small dog, and has never bothered any of them. Gold’s foster mom describes him as a "very happy and hungry guy" who is also "very sweet."
