Bio
José is a hoot! He is a dog for adults only because of his high prey drive. He is a FANATIC for toys of all sorts. If there’s a stuffed animal around, José assumes it’s his. If a toy is in your hand, he also assumes it’s his, and he tries to take it. Sometimes he’s not very respectful of fingers in the way. He loves to play fetch, and won’t come in from the backyard until his human plays with him. His favorite fetching toy is a large rubber squeaky football. When it’s thrown, he chases it down, sometimes catching it in mid-air after a bounce, and gallops back with his head high and tail wagging. He drops it close by so it can be thrown once again. This goes on until he decides it should stop, at which point he takes his football to the door and waits to go inside.
José loves his humans, but is not very demonstrative about it. He does like to be close, and will lie down next to his human, usually in a place he’s in the way! He’s quiet for the most part, and crates well. José really likes his food and is a good eater. He gets along well with the other greyhounds, but would not do well with smaller animals - dogs or cats.
